BA Entrepreneurship and Human Resource Management

Course Overview

This BA (Hons) Entrepreneurship and Human Resource Management programme empowers you to generate and implement innovative business ideas. Developed with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), it provides a fast track to success, offering both a BA (Hons) degree and a CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership without additional exams. Specialised modules teach you to identify, assess, and realise business opportunities, fostering creativity to solve problems and enhance products and services.

Learning is delivered through engaging lectures, seminars, debates, field trips, and insights from industry practitioners. Students will analyse current literature and work on live case studies. Entry Requirements

To study BA Entrepreneurship and Human Resource Management at the University of Derby, the following requirements must be met:

Grade requirements

Applicants must have qualifications equivalent to 112 UCAS points, such as BBC at A Level, a Merit at T Level, or a Pass in an Access to HE Diploma with 60 credits (including 45 at Level 3, with a minimum of 15 Distinctions, 24 Merits, and 6 Passes). 

English Proficiency

Candidates whose first or primary language is not English will usually need an overall IELTS score of 6.0, with no component score below 5.5.
