Course overview

BSc Microbiology (with Foundation Year) at the University of Central Lancashire is designed for students who wish to pursue a career in microbiology but first need to build essential scientific knowledge. 

Students will begin with a foundation year covering chemistry, biology, mathematics, and scientific communication, then move into the full honours degree. During the honours years, you’ll study advanced topics such as molecular biology, clinical microbiology, microbial biotechnology, and research methods. 

Entry requirements

Students must meet specific requirements to qualify for BSc Microbiology (with Foundation Year) at the University of Central Lancashire.
