MSc Electronic Engineering

Course Overview

The University of Bedfordshire MSc Electronic Engineering is aimed at graduates in electronics who would like to specialise in areas such as digital electronics or communications. The industry-developed curriculum offers hands-on, practice-based learning with an emphasis on real-world application. The students perform an individual MSc project to investigate their personal interests.

The course is taught in a STEM building with up-to-date laboratories and software. Entry Requirements for Egyptian Students

  • Applicants need a 2.2 honours degree or its equivalent in a related subject area. Candidates with work experience in the field may be considered.

  • Candidates from non-English speaking backgrounds need an IELTS score of 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. The university also accepts other equivalent English language tests, like PTE or TOEFL.

Cost of Study

For the 2025/26 academic year, the full-time tuition fee is £16,900 for international students.

Scholarships

The University of Bedfordshire offers a variety of scholarships to assist students with their studies. These include the Postgraduate Global Subject-Specific Merit Scholarship, which can provide a reduction of up to £5,000 on international tuition fees for eligible courses. Additionally, the Postgraduate Global Merit Scholarship offers a £3,000 reduction, and the Vice Chancellor's Scholarship for Postgraduate Students provides a £1,000 reduction on the first year's fees for international students. Alumni of the university are also eligible for a 20% discount on fees for postgraduate courses.
