Overview
This BSc Biomedical Science degree at the University of Bedfordshire gives students a solid foundation in the scientific skills used to research, diagnose, and treat diseases. It studies how the human body systems work by examining molecular, cellular, and organ-level processes, and how diseases affect these systems when they do not work together.
This course is accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (IBMS), which is a great step towards becoming a registered biomedical scientist in the UK. Students learn using a practical approach and real-world applications.

Entry Requirements
Candidates need to submit a personal statement and relevant information regarding their studies, an academic and/or employer reference and their CVs to show their work experience.
Grade Requirements:
- Candidates need 112 UCAS tariff points, including 96 points from three A-levels and a science subject or equivalent qualification.
- Mathematics GCSE at grade 4 or C.
English Proficiency:
- Candidates need a current overall score of 6.0 in the IELTS Academic test, with no score below 5.5.
- PTE and TOEFL are also accepted.
Cost of Study

Scholarships
The University of Bedfordshire offers scholarships to support international students with their tuition fees, including the Postgraduate Global Merit Scholarship and which provides a £3,000 reduction of tuition fees for students who have a minimum 75% GPA or equivalent in their Bachelor's degree. The Vice Chancellor's Scholarship offers a £1,000 discount on the first year's tuition fees for students who are not receiving another scholarship.
