BA Business Administration Human Resource Management

The BA Business Administration (HRM) programme at the University of Bedfordshire is a one-year course designed for students who already hold relevant qualifications (Level 4 and 5 or 240 credits) or have practical experience in the field, aiming to achieve a degree in Business Administration with a human resource management focus. 

The course prepares students for fulfilling careers in human resources and people management, both within the United Kingdom and internationally, by combining academic theory with practical business projects, providing the knowledge and experience needed for roles in HR or general people management across various organisational settings. 

In this course, students will gain insight into current practices in human resource management, alongside understanding new developments in related areas. Learning methods include business reports, individual written assignments, and formative presentations.

Applicants usually need to submit a personal statement explaining why they want to study the course and give other important details about their education. A reference from someone in academics or a past employer is also typically required. Students can include their CV with their application to show any work experience they have.

Grade Requirements: 

• Applicants generally need A-levels or similar qualifications. This includes a BTEC Extended Diploma at MPP, a BTEC Diploma at MM, T Levels, or the International Baccalaureate. 
• The university also accepts qualifications that are equivalent to these from other countries.

English Proficiency: 

• Students from countries where English is not the main language need to get a 6.0 overall score in IELTS, with at least 5.5 in each part. 
• Students can also submit scores from other accepted tests, like TOEFL and PTE.

For international students taking the BA Business Administration (HRM) course at the University of Bedfordshire, the fee is £16,800.

The University of Bedfordshire offers several scholarships to help students with their studies. Excellence Scholarships give £2,500 per year for three years to students who earn a certain number of UCAS tariff points.
