MSc Computing with Cloud Technologies Work Experience

Sheffield Hallam University’s MSc Computing with Cloud Technologies (Work Experience) is a postgraduate degree that helps students learn the features of a computer, data entry formats, as well as hosting information on the internet for future purposes, without needing to be close to a nearby server or personal computer. It is a degree that considers students who intend to work while pursuing the degree. However, the work experience should be related to the discipline.

In this programme, students will learn to research, write code, analyse data, debug, and study modules that teach professional practices and develop research skills. The technologies applied include deployment models, system architecture, user interface, and Microsoft Azure cloud services. Additionally, the course helps students attain work-life balance as they can secure work placements for up to 12 months, where they can apply what they have learned in the classroom.

Learning in this course will be project-based. Students will also have lab sessions, lectures, tutorials, technical exercises, and group discussions. Assessment is done through tests, lab reports, assignments, and examinations.
