Overview

The Sheffield Hallam University BSc (Honours) Nursing (Child) with Foundation Year prepares you for degree-level study. Entry Requirements

To be enrolled, you need to submit a personal statement, a relevant academic and/or employer reference, and upload your CV along with your application to demonstrate your work experience.

Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants need at least 40 UCAS points for the foundation year, including A-levels, BTEC National Diploma, T-levels or international equivalents.

English Proficiency:

  • Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds should have a minimum IELTS score of 7.0 overall, with at least 7.0 in speaking, reading, and listening, and 6.5 in writing. Other equivalent tests are also accepted.

Cost of Study

The tuition fee for international students taking the BSc (Honours) Nursing (Child) with Foundation Year at Sheffield Hallam University is £19,155, including an annual placement supplement of £2,000.

Scholarships

The university offers various scholarships to help students with the cost of their studies. For the foundation year, students may be eligible for a student finance loan, but not for the NHS training grant. However, from the second year onwards, you would be eligible for the non-repayable training grant of at least £5,000 per year from the NHS. The university also offers other scholarships for international students, such as the Transform Together Scholarships.
