Course overview
The Middlesex University MSc Data Science course is for individuals who already have a mathematical science or computing background and are interested in becoming a data scientist. It focuses on machine learning, visual analytics, and data governance, and combines theoretical education with practical skills by using industry-standard platforms and languages.

Entry requirements

Grade Requirements:
- Applicants need at least a lower second-class (2:2) honours undergraduate degree in subjects like computer science, mathematics, physics, or engineering.
- Alternatively, applicants will be considered if they have two or more years of relevant working experience (such as programming, data analytics, or machine learning).
English Proficiency:
- Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds need to score 6.5 overall in IELTS (with a minimum of 6.0 in each section).
- Equivalent test scores are also accepted.
