BSc Physiotherapy
Course overview
The BSc Physiotherapy at London Metropolitan University will teach students how to support individuals with a range of circumstances, including injury, diseases and the impact of ageing to enhance their movement and function, and to make a good recovery.
Students will learn about common conditions treated by physiotherapists and develop core skills to provide effective physiotherapy treatments to individuals, groups and populations who have or are at risk of developing long-term health conditions.
They will learn from highly experienced lecturers and clinicians who will support their professional development into a latest physiotherapist. Students will also have access to the nursing skills and simulation suites so they can learn from their peers in different disciplines.
Entry requirements
You are required to submit a personal statement in which you discuss your reasons for applying for the course and other relevant information regarding your studies. A relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required. Students have the option to upload their CVs along with their applications to demonstrate their work experience.
Grade Requirements:
- Applicants are expected to have minimum of BBB grades in three A levels, including grade B or above in Biology, and Chemistry or Physics, Sociology, Psychology or Physical Education.
- Or a minimum of 120 UCAS points.
English Proficiency:
- Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds usually need an overall IELTS score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each of the four components.
- Equivalent qualifications like PTE and TOEFL are also accepted.
