BSc Software Engineering

The BSc Software Engineering at Liverpool John Moores University is an accredited course that combines studying with a paid placement year in the third year of the course. Students will learn practical skills in programming languages such as Java and C# and they will also learn to design solutions, test reliably, and maintain software.

Students learn practically using labs and tutorials, 15 hours of classroom time and plenty of self-study and they are assessed through exams, coursework and a final‑year project, with feedback from tutors through the Canvas virtual learning environment.
