BSc Counselling Psychology

The BSc Counselling Psychology at Leeds Trinity University explores both the challenges people face and the positive aspects of human behaviour. You will study the causes of psychological distress as well as the factors that support wellbeing and resilience, developing an understanding of how counselling psychology can empower people to live healthier, happier lives.

In your final year, you can focus on the topics that interest you most, which will help you prepare for your future career.

The BSc Counselling Psychology at Leeds Trinity University is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). After finishing successfully, you will be eligible for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership. This is an important step if you want to become a Chartered Counselling Psychologist or work in psychology and other graduate jobs.

Grade Requirements:

• To apply for this course, you need a UCAS tariff score between 112 to 144 points. This can be obtained through qualifications such as A Level, BTEC Extended Diploma or T Level. 

English Proficiency:

• International applicants will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in English by having an IELTS score of 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each of the components. Equivalent tests are also accepted.

For the 2025/2026 academic session, the tuition fee to study the BSc Counselling Psychology at Leeds Trinity University is £12,000. Please note that fees are provisional and are subject to change.
