This course prepares students with knowledge and skills for a career in construction project management with the coursework created in partnership with employers, which covers the management of commercial and domestic construction projects.
Students will learn principles and practices of the profession such as sustainability, financial management, procurement, leadership, and commercial practice and learn how to plan projects, allocate resources and manage risk.
The programme is taught in three phases which are Preparation, Live, and Post. The Preparation phase includes pre-recorded lectures and reading materials, and the Live phase involves engaging classroom teaching and finally, the Post phase includes follow-up with extra work to make sure students understand what they have been taught.
