MSc Mechatronic Systems

Course Overview

The MSc Mechatronic Systems at Kingston University is for students who want to know the future of intelligent engineering. The course gives you the skills to work with robotics, artificial intelligence, and smart control systems. You'll work with industry software such as RoboDK, CoppeliaSim, and MATLAB/Simulink to simulate and control robotic systems. Facilities include wind tunnels, engine test cells, 3D printers, rolling roads, and automotive testing labs.

The MSc Mechatronic Systems from Kingston University is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the Engineering Council. It, therefore, helps you work towards becoming a Chartered Engineer (CEng).

Entry Requirements for Egyptian Students

  • In some circumstances, the university will consider applicants who have substantial working experience. In place of a first degree, you must demonstrate experience in either computing, electronics or embedded systems areas.

Grade Requirements:

  • To be eligible to study this course, a 2:2 or above honours degree in a relevant area or academic equivalent, such as Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Information Technology, is required. 

English Proficiency:

  • Non-native English speakers are to show proficiency in English with an IELTS overall score of 6.5 (or equivalent), with no element below 6.0.  
  • Applicants who do not meet the English language requirements may be eligible to join the university’s pre-sessional English language course.

Cost of Study

For the 2025/26 academic year, the tuition fee to study an MSc in Mechatronic Systems at Kingston University is £17,600. Please note that fees are subject to change.

Scholarships

Kingston University provides various scholarships and financial aid options to assist international students with their cost of studies.
