DPsych Counselling Psychology

Course Overview

The DPsych Counselling Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University is a three-year programme that offers integrated clinical training and extensive professional development. It is the only programme of its kind in Scotland.

Entry Requirements for Egyptian Students

Interested students are required to submit a personal statement in which they discuss their reasons for applying to the course and other relevant information regarding their studies. An academic or employer reference is also required. Students have the option to upload their CVs along with their applications to show work experience.

Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants need at least a second-class honours undergraduate degree in psychology that meets British Psychological Society (BPS) standards for the Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC).
  • Applicants who show relevant work experience or credits from recognised professional bodies, through the University's Recognition of Prior Learning scheme, may also be considered.

English Proficiency:

  • Non-English speaking applicants need to score 7.0 overall in IELTS with not less than 6.5 in each component.

The annual full-time tuition fee for the DPsych Counselling Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University is £16,200 for international students.
