BEng Aeronautical Engineering

The De Montfort University Aeronautical Engineering programme provides a thorough education in the design, development, and upkeep of aircraft and aerospace systems. The curriculum focuses on modern aircraft structures, aerodynamics, propulsion systems, flight mechanics, and advanced materials.

Grade Requirements: 

• Applicants for the BEng Aeronautical Engineering programme generally need 112 UCAS points. This can be achieved with A-levels, BTEC Extended Diploma, International Baccalaureate Diploma, and T-levels. 
• Additionally, international qualifications equivalent to A-levels are accepted.

English Proficiency: 

• If English is not your main language, you must show you can use it well by having an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. 
• The university also accepts other English test scores, such as PTE and TOEFL.

For international students, the tuition fee for the BEng Aeronautical Engineering at De Montfort University is £16,750 per year. 

De Montfort University offers various scholarships that are eligible for international undergraduate students may apply for. The DMU Global High Flyers Award is one such scholarship, providing a £1,500 cash payment and supporting a study trip for successful applicants. For students who excel in sports, the De Montfort University Sports Scholarship offers up to £6,000 to help elite athletes balance their academic and sporting commitments.
