Course Overview

The MSc Project Management at Cardiff Metropolitan University is designed for those looking to build a career in a wide range of industries where strong project management skills are essential. The MSc Project Management at Cardiff Metropolitan University helps students build the skills they need to work in today’s fast-changing workplaces. Entry Requirements

Applicants should have at least five years of relevant work experience in a project team role, or a minimum of two years’ experience in programme or portfolio management. If you have significant experience in project, programme, or portfolio environments, you may also be considered. This must be clearly demonstrated through your CV, personal statement, and application form. An interview may be required as part of the admissions process.

Grade Requirements: 

  • Prospective students should hold an undergraduate degree (classification 2:2 or above)
  • Applicants with a Higher Apprenticeship in Project Management with two years of relevant work experience in a project team role will also be considered. 

English Proficiency: 

  • Students whose first language isn't English will need to provide evidence of fluency in English. To do this, they must have an IELTS score of 6.0. 
  • Equivalent tests are also accepted.

Cost of Study

For the 2025/2026 academic year, the tuition fee to study the MSc Project Management at Cardiff Metropolitan University is £17,600.

Scholarships

Cardiff Metropolitan University offers a number of bursary and scholarship schemes to assist students with the cost of studying in the university. The Vice Chancellor Scholarship awards £3,500 to students based on their academic and professional work experience.
