BA Business Management Finance

Cardiff Metropolitan University

Course overview

The BA Business & Management (Finance) course at Cardiff Metropolitan University allows students to focus on specific subjects through five different routes: Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Supply Chain and Logistics Management, and Marketing.

When students on the BA Business & Management programme choose the Finance route in their second year, they will study finance-specific modules, and in their final year, they will continue their focused study with core finance subjects and will also have the opportunity to select other optional modules from a range of business-related areas.

On this course, students will learn about business and management, along with the important skills to help them become strong and adaptable managers. The way students learn will include lectures, group work, discussions, and looking at real-life examples, and their progress will be assessed through different methods, such as essays, presentations, exams, and reports.

This course helps you to think critically and act professionally, improving your skills in leading and working with others. What students learn will relate to business around the world and will include important topics like being sustainable, being responsible as a company, and making good ethical choices.
