Course Overview

The BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science at Buckinghamshire New University helps you train to become a registered paramedic with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Paramedics today work in many places, such as ambulance services, GP clinics, walk-in centres, and hospitals.

During the course, you will study key subjects like anatomy, physiology, medicine, emergency care, and how to assess and treat patients. You will also learn how to make good clinical decisions and use research in your practice.

Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) was founded in 1893 in the county of Buckinghamshire, England. Entry Requirements for Egyptian Students

Applicants must be physically fit and able to undertake clinical placements, which will involve frontline ambulance duties.

Grade Requirements:

  • A UCAS tariff score of 112-136 obtained through qualifications such as A levels, T levels, BTEC or an Access to Higher Education course in a relevant subject is required to study this course. 

English Proficiency:

  • Students whose English is not their first language must achieve a minimum score of 7.0 with no element below 6.5 in IELTS or equivalent. 

Cost of Study

The tuition fee to study the BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science at Buckinghamshire New University for the 2025/2026 academic session is £15,150. Kindly note that fees are paid per year and are subject to increase.

Scholarships

Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) gives financial help to international students through scholarships. One of these is the Vice Chancellor’s International Student Scholarship. This scholarship gives students a discount of up to £1,500 on their tuition fees for the first year of study.

To get this scholarship, students must be paying for their studies by themselves (not sponsored by someone else), and their course must last at least one full year. This support is given to help hardworking students reduce their costs and focus on their education.
