Engineering with an Integrated Foundation Year

Course Overview

Brunel University London’s Engineering with an Integrated Foundation Year is a one-year, full-time course designed for students who lack the qualifications to enter an engineering degree program directly.

It serves as a preparatory year to equip students with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to progress to a BEng or MEng degree in various engineering disciplines, delivered by a multidisciplinary teaching team providing expertise across engineering disciplines.

The programme combines theoretical learning, hands-on practical sessions, and project work. These include lectures, tutorials and lab sessions with some lessons delivered online through Brunel's Virtual Learning Environment.
