MSc Electronic Engineering

Course Overview

The MSc Electronic Engineering at the University of Surrey is an accredited and technically oriented postgraduate programme. Students can specialise in advanced areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), mobile and satellite communications, integrated circuits, and battery systems.

Entry Requirements for Sri Lankan Students

Applicants must submit a personal statement outlining their motivation for applying and provide a relevant academic and/or employer reference. A CV may also be uploaded to demonstrate relevant work experience.

Grade Requirements:

  • A first degree equivalent to at least a UK second class (2.2) honours degree in a relevant subject such as Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
  • Applicants with significant relevant work experience may also be considered.

English Proficiency:

  • IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in Writing and 5.5 in Reading, Listening, and Speaking.
  • Equivalent test scores such as TOEFL or PTE Academic are accepted.

Cost of Study

The tuition fee for international students is £24,900 per year. Fees are subject to change annually.
