Course Overview

The MSc Computer Vision, Robotics and Machine Learning at the University of Surrey helps you develop skills in artificial intelligence, robotics, and image and video analysis. You will study important topics like computer vision, machine learning, and image processing. You will also work on practical projects to improve your programming skills. The course is recognised by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). It fully meets the academic requirements to register as an Incorporated Engineer and partly meets the requirements to become a Chartered Engineer.

Entry Requirements for Sri Lankan Students

Grade Requirements:

  • A minimum of a 2:2 UK honours degree in computer science, electronic engineering, mathematics, or physics, or a recognised equivalent international qualification.

English Proficiency:

  • International students whose first language is not English are to have an IELTS score of 6.5 with at least 6.0 in Writing and 5.5 in the other elements. Equivalent tests are also accepted.

Cost of Study

The tuition fee to study an MSc in Computer Vision, Robotics and Machine Learning at the University of Surrey is £24,900 for international students. Please note that fees are provisional and, therefore, subject to change.

Scholarships

The University of Surrey offers several scholarships and financial aid options to support students. The Early Payment Discount, for example, awards up to a £2,000 fee waiver for eligible students in the first year of their studies. To be eligible, applicants must be international fee-paying students for a full-time master's programme starting in February 2026.
