LLB Law with International Relations

Course Overview

The LLB Law with International Relations at the University of Surrey allows students to explore the connections between law and society, particularly on a global scale. Students will gain a better understanding of the interactions between developed countries and the effects they have on small and medium-sized nations, showing why legal systems often do not function as intended.

The course challenges students not only to understand the law but also to apply it and consider its impact on society globally. They will develop knowledge of the foundations and content of the law of England and Wales while learning about the latest developments in both law and global politics.

The university offers students the opportunity to enhance their professional skills through a series of extracurricular activities focusing on client interviewing, negotiation and mooting. The Court of the Future is the perfect venue to run practical workshops to demonstrate legal practice and offers students first-hand experience of advocacy in a court setting. It allows them to have mock trials and moot courts in a real adversarial setting.
