HND Engineering General Engineering

The HND Engineering (General Engineering) at the University of Suffolk builds upon the knowledge students have gained in previous studies to provide them with the professional standards required of engineers and to guide them in developing the necessary technical skills.

The course prepares students to analyse engineering and manufacturing situations using mathematical techniques. Among the topics covered in this course are number theory, complex numbers, matrix theory, linear equations, and graphical representations of curves for estimation.

Students will be able to conduct individual projects that involve seeking out and reviewing original research papers, designing their own experimental work, solving problems as they arise, managing time, and writing an extensive report.

• Alternatively, equivalent qualifications like PTE and TOEFL are also accepted.
