BSc Biomolecular Sciences

Course Overview

The BSc Hons Biomolecular Sciences course is a degree programme that will provide students with the knowledge and skills for careers in all branches of bioscience and other related professions. In the first two years, students on all biosciences degrees study the same core modules, allowing a flexible approach to learning and a choice of specialisation at a later stage.

Knowledge and understanding are assessed through written examinations, essays, presentations, and computer-aided learning quizzes. Students' practical skills are assessed through laboratory tests and project reports. In the final year, students undertake an individual research project, where they present a dissertation of their work.
