Course overview
This Master's by Thesis programme is a research qualification that gives students more freedom in their study than a normal taught course. They spend one year full-time working on an original research project, working closely with an assigned supervisor. It is a perfect path for making key contributions to science in fields like cancer biology or cardiovascular science.
The final grade for the course is based completely on the submission of a research thesis that is judged by an academic panel. Students also acquire support from the PGR Development Programme to help develop important academic and professional skills. Entry requirements
Applicants are to submit a personal statement in which they clearly list their reasons for applying for the course and other relevant information regarding their studies. A relevant academic reference is also needed. Students can upload their CVs alongside their applications to showcase their work experience.
Grade Requirements:

Candidates must possess an Upper Second Class Honours (2:1) undergraduate degree in a related discipline that is perfect for their intended research project. A different degree may be approvable if the student has enough research experience in a field such as medical science or laboratory work.
English Language Requirements:

Students applying from non-English-speaking countries should score 6.5 overall in IELTS (Academic), with no less than 6.0 in each section, or submit equivalent accepted secure English language test scores
