LLB Law with Politics With Foundation Year
Course overview
This four-year LLB Law with Foundation Year at the University of Hull begins with a foundation year designed to develop students’ academic skills and introduce key legal concepts before progressing to the standard three-year LLB programme. During the foundation year, students study modules that build confidence in academic writing, critical thinking, and understanding how law operates within society.
After successfully completing the foundation year, students move into the full LLB degree, studying core law subjects such as Contract Law, Criminal Law, Public Law, and Tort Law. Assessment is based on a combination of essays, examinations, and practical activities such as mooting and client interviewing, ensuring students gain both theoretical knowledge and professional legal skills.
