University of Greenwich

Course overview

The BA Architecture at the University of Greenwich is a three-year programme accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Architects Registration Board (ARB). The course explores the building world by studying new technologies, social conditions, and contemporary cultural contexts. It also covers areas such as architectural design, history, theory, technology, and the critical importance of sustainability.

Teaching takes place in the Stockwell Street Building through studio-based tutorials, lectures, seminars, and workshops to help students develop visual communication and drawing skills. Assessment involves formal assignments that contribute to the final grade, and successful completion means exemption from the RIBA Part 1 examination.
