Course overview

The BA Sports Business Management (High Performance Leadership) programme at the University of Gloucester enables students to develop skills in managing sports events, facilities, and people, as well as capitalising on business opportunities in the sports industry, with a focus on high-performance leadership.

This 3-year programme takes students through the fundamentals of sports business as well as community sports provisions. They will learn why sports are important and examine policies and protocols that govern the industry.

The BA in Sports Business Management (High Performance Leadership) at the University of Gloucester will develop students’ critical and creative thinking through interactive lectures and seminars. Entry requirements

  • BTEC Extended Diploma: The typical grade range is DDD-DDM.

  • Mature applicants (above 21) may not necessarily require the same academic qualifications as school-leaving applicants, although some entry requirements may still apply for Professionally Accredited Courses.

English Proficiency:

  • Non-native English speakers may need to demonstrate proficiency in the language, typically through an IELTS overall score of at least 6.5 (or a 5.5 in each section).
