Course overview

This special Master's degree, LLM International Commercial and Business Law at the University of Essex, looks closely at the complex and changing rules that control how businesses operate in the UK, Europe, and around the world.

Students will greatly expand their knowledge of important legal topics, including the rules governing goods, services, internet use, data protection, consumer rights, and environmental law.

Students are graded using a blend of coursework and exams. To complete the programme, students must write a 12,000-word research paper (dissertation) on a legal topic that they choose. They can also get practical work experience by volunteering at the Essex Law Clinic.
