LLM FinTech Law
Course overview
The LLM FinTech Law is a specialist Master's degree. It is run by the Royal Docks School of Business and Law. The course teaches students a lot about the laws and rules for the quickly changing world of digital finance and how technology is used in banks. Students will study how things like cryptoassets, decentralised finance, and digital currencies from central banks are controlled by law.
The teaching uses lectures, smaller seminars, and practical workshops. Students will have six hours of teaching every week. These classes are usually held on weekday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. The University uses learning methods that aim to keep them interested, such as solving real-life problems, having group talks, and looking at detailed examples (case studies).
Entry requirements
Candidates are required to submit a personal statement in which they discuss their reasons for applying for the course and other relevant information regarding their studies. A relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required. Students have the option to upload their CV along with their applications to demonstrate their work experience.
