MSc International Business and Strategy

The MSc International Business and Strategy at the University of Dundee is a 1-year programme where students study core modules on international business, strategic management, global financial markets, risk assessment, and organisational analysis. It usually starts with a two-week foundation course that introduces students to various international business pathways.

The course is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Grade Requirements

• Candidates should possess at least a 2:2 Honours degree, ideally in a subject that develops analytical and quantitative abilities.

English Proficiency

• Applicants need an overall IELTS score of 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in each individual skill. 
• English language proficiency can also be demonstrated using tests like TOEFL iBT or PTE Academic.
• This requirement is typically waived for nationals of certain countries.

The tuition cost for international students joining the University of Dundee’s MSc International Business and Strategy programme in 2025/26 is £23,000. Keep in mind, this fee could rise by a maximum of 5% per year as the course progresses.

The University of Dundee offers several scholarships for international students enrolled in any of their undergraduate or postgraduate programmes. The Global Excellence Scholarship is available to students with outstanding academic records and awards up to £5,000 per year. Other options include the £4,000 Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship, the £2,500 Africa Community Scholarship for students from Africa, and the Al-Maktoum College Living Support Scholarship, which assists MSc Islamic Finance students with living expenses.
