BSc Computer Science
Course overview
The degree will equip you with the skills necessary to design, develop, and implement professional software on various platforms, which will prepare you to work in the field of computing. You will acquire skills in areas like cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), user-centred design, and ethical software development, which are practical instead of theoretical. On your first day, you will be working on practical projects, where you work in teams and apply the industry-standard tools, including GitHub, Docker and cloud services like AWS, to create a useful portfolio.
The learning process is very practical and project-based, which makes sure that you are developing real systems to solve real-world problems. Evaluations include practical assignments and individual and group projects, as well as tests. The duration of the course is four years, and you can add an optional industrial placement year to ensure an even improved professional experience and employability in the technology sector.
