Overview

Entry Requirements

  • Candidates are required to submit a personal statement in which they discuss their reasons for applying for the course and other relevant information regarding their studies.
  • A relevant academic reference is also required.
  • Students may upload their CVs along with their applications.

Grade Requirements

  • For 2025 entry, typical requirements include A-Levels at BBC, a Merit in a T Level, or a DMM in a BTEC. International students need to have qualifications equivalent to A Levels.

English Proficiency

  • IELTS: 6.0 overall, with no less than 5.5 in each component. The university also accepts other English language qualifications, such as TOEFL and PTE.

Cost of Study

The BSc Business Economics programme costs £22,500 for international students, £1,820 for Scottish students, and £9,535 for England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland per year of study. Note that the tuition fees for international students will increase by no more than 5% per year for the length of the course.

Scholarships

The University of Dundee offers several undergraduate scholarships for applicants who are classified as international fee-paying students and reside outside the UK. Eligible students can receive scholarships ranging from £2,000 to £6,000 per year. For Scottish students, tuition fees are typically covered by the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS).
