A minimum of a 2:2 undergraduate degree in architecture, construction or other built environment, or a professional qualification of equal standing, or significant practical or professional experience that would support your application.
Applicants without a relevant degree and applicants from non-traditional backgrounds will be accepted subject to a successful interview and relevant work experience.
English Proficiency:
Non-native English speakers may need to demonstrate proficiency in the language, typically through an IELTS score of at least 6.0. TOEFL or other equivalents are also allowed.
The tuition fee (2025/2026) for MSc Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Project Collaboration at the University of Derby is £16,900 per year. While this covers the majority of the educational expenses, extra expenses such as optional study trips, travel expenses for work placements and additional kits or equipment are not included.
