BA Business Management

This course is designed for individuals seeking a career in the business world, covering contemporary business issues and methods. The Business Management degree aims to equip students with practical skills, knowledge, and experiences to become effective and strategic leaders. The course is delivered through a mix of in-person lectures and workshops. 

Students should expect to spend around 20 hours per week on independent study. Assessment methods include coursework, peer assessment, reflective reviews, evaluation reports, and some class tests and practical assessments.

The Business Management BA is primarily based at the Queen's Park site in Chester, which offers purpose-built facilities. The duration is typically 3 years full-time, with options for a foundation year or placement year, extending the duration to 4 years.

Grade Requirements

Applicants are required to have the following;

• 112 UCAS Tariff points with qualifications equivalent to A-levels in Arts or a related subject. 
• BTEC Extended Diploma: Grades within the range of Distinction to Merit (DDM)
• International Baccalaureate (IB): A 28 points is usually required.

English Proficiency

Candidates whose first or primary language is not English will usually need an overall IELTS score of 6.0, with no component score below 5.5.

The cost of the Business Management BA program for International Students is £10,750 for the first foundation year (2025/26) and £14,450 per year from the second year onward (2025/26), providing a valuable, high-quality educational experience.
