BA Business Management

Course Overview

Studying a BA (Hons) Business and Management at the University of Central Lancashire prepares students for dynamic careers in business and leadership roles worldwide.  This course enables students to build a strong foundation in topics such as business ecosystems, marketing, and economy, while also developing the hands-on experience that employers look for.

This course will help students develop core business and management skills such as problem-solving, decision-making, leadership and collaboration skills essential for excelling win the field 

The 3-4 year programme introduces students to key ideas, models, and theories that shape contemporary management. Students will also have the opportunities to apply theory to practice through live projects, short-term internships, and an integrated work placement year. They can tailor their learning through selecting specialised modules to suit their career aspirations.

Entry Requirements

  • Qualifications equivalent to A-levels  in subjects such as Mathematics, Business Studies, and Economics (grades ranging from AAB to BBC). 
  • International Baccalaureate: Overall points should be between 28 and 36.
  • BTEC Level 3 Extended Diplomas in Business or related subjects with grades such as DMM (Distinction, Merit, Merit) or higher.

English Proficiency:

  • Non-native English speakers may need to demonstrate proficiency in the language, typically through an IELTS score of at least 6.5. TOEFL or other equivalents are also allowed.

Cost of Study

The tuition fee for the 2025/26 academic year for international students in BA (Hons) Business and Management is around £16,500. Keep in mind that these fees are subject to change.

Scholarships

University of Central Lancashire has several scholarships and bursaries available for both international postgraduate and undergraduate students. Students will need to apply for and receive an offer from the university first to be considered for any of its scholarships.

The international bursary of £1,000 per year of study is available to all international students enrolling with the university in the academic year 2025/26.

The GREAT scholarship program offers financial support of a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK. 

Foundation Year Bursary is offered to students upon completion of a foundation year and moving into year one of the bachelor's course.
