MB ChB Medicine
Course overview
The University of Buckingham MB ChB Medicine is a 4-year undergraduate course in the Faculty of Medical Sciences, accredited by the General Medical Council from 2019. It trains ethical, compassionate doctors through Phases 1 and 2. The first two years combine foundational sciences, such as anatomy and body systems, with early clinical placements in hospitals and general practices for hands-on patient interaction.
Phase 2 of the MB ChB Medicine at the University of Buckingham includes both hospital and community exposure, building skills in diagnosis, treatment, and communication via themed blocks with low student-to-teacher ratios.
