Overview
Applying knowledge to understand how humans feel, think and behave the way they do, and also encourage the strong interest in sport and exercise and wonder how psychology applies? Then the BSc (Hons) Psychology with Sport and Exercise, with its contemporary curriculum with application to the modern world, is for you.
You will explore a range of core psychological perspectives to better understand the human mind and behaviour, and develop your reflective skills to understand the application of psychology, preparing you to reach your future goals. Alongside exploring theory in the classroom and its application to contemporary societal challenges, you will also have practical opportunities to develop your research and experimental skills in our state-of-the-art psychology lab.
Practical work-based learning outside of the university and additional training around mental health are all included in this course and will ensure you are ready to put your knowledge and skills into practice.

Grade Requirements
- UCAS Tariff: 96 points are needed for international undergraduate students.
- Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) – MMM.
English Language Requirement
- To apply for all undergraduate programs, you will need to sit an approved test in English if it is not your first language. This might include achieving an IELTS score of 6.0, with no band below 5.5, depending on your course requirements.
- TOEFL score of 72, with minimum band scores of Reading 18, Writing 17, Listening 17, and Speaking 20 for undergraduate (BA, BSc).
Cost of Study
As an international student enrolled on a full-time BSc Psychology with Sport and Exercise program in 2026/27, the fee for the academic year is £16,000. Fees are subject to annual change.
