LLB Law with International Business

The University of Law

Course overview

The LLB Law with International Business with Foundation Year at the University of Law is a four-year undergraduate programme that combines a full qualifying law degree with a strong preparation in global business practices. The foundation year is made up of 6 modules, which will help students develop the necessary skills and introduce them to key concepts. It trains students to develop key academic, communication, and digital research skills, introduces sustainability and societal issues, and includes a foundation project to prepare them for university-level study.

After the foundation year, students move into the three-year LLB degree, where core legal modules such as Contract Law, Tort, Public Law, Criminal Law, Equity & Trusts, and optional International Business modules such as International Business and Global Trade, Marketing Communication in a Digital World, International Human Resource Management, and International Strategic Management are delivered. Students learn through a combination of lectures and workshops, allowing them to explore ideas in depth and receive lecturer feedback. They are assessed by exams, essays, project reports, portfolios, and oral presentations.
