BSc Honours MSci Chemistry

Course Overview

Sheffield Hallam University's BSc (Hons)/MSci Chemistry programme is a three-year honours degree with an optional fourth-year MSci research concentration. Students learn about fundamental chemistry topics such as physical, organic, inorganic, analytical, and materials chemistry. They watch online videos, use interactive tools, and work in small groups. Assessment includes practical reports, coursework, exams, presentations, and research projects. Students are taught by active researchers and specialists.

Entry Requirements for Sri Lankan Students

Grade Requirements:

Applicants typically need 72 UCAS points from a BBC at A-Level (including Chemistry or an equivalent Level 3 qualification).

English Proficiency:

For applicants who do not speak English as their first language, it is necessary to have a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 with no skill section below 5.5.

Cost of Study
