MSc Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship

The MSc Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship programme at Nottingham Trent University is designed to equip students with practical skills, hands-on experience and valuable networks needed to build a successful business. The 1-year programme combines entrepreneurial knowledge with skill development to prepare students to lead and manage start-ups.

Throughout the MSc Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship programme at Nottingham Trent University, students will have the opportunity to set up and establish their own enterprise, supported by expert mentorship, to gain good business ideas for their business. The programme also provides access to a unique seed fund and the broader entrepreneurial community, connecting students with experts, entrepreneurs, business models and capitalists.

Candidates are required to submit a personal statement in which they discuss their reasons for applying for the course and other relevant information regarding their studies. A relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required. Students have the option to upload their CVs along with their applications to demonstrate their work experience.

Grade Requirements:

• You will need an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK undergraduate honours degree (2.2 or above).

English Proficiency:

• Applicants whose first language is not English are required to demonstrate their proficiency by having an IELTS score of 6.5 overall, with no individual skill component scoring below 5.5.
• The university also accepts various other recognised English language qualifications like PTE and TOEFL.

The tuition fee for the 2025/26 academic year for international students enrolling in the MSc Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship programme at Nottingham Trent University is designed to be £21,400. Students may incur additional costs in the course of their education at the university over and above tuition fees in an academic year.
