BSc Forensic Science
Course overview
The BSc Forensic Science programme runs for three years or four years with an optional placement year. The programme provides a hands-on education covering the entire forensic process, from crime scene to courtroom. The curriculum focuses on science, law, and ethical considerations required of a professional forensic practitioner. Students benefit from professional-level facilities, including a dedicated crime-scene house and authentic on-site courtrooms.
The course is accredited by the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences, which is the gold standard for degree-level forensic education. Teaching staff include several former and current forensic practitioners in the UK, bringing real-world case studies into the classroom.
