BSc Nursing Mental Health

The BSc Nursing (Mental Health) at Middlesex University is a three-year course designed to produce qualified and compassionate mental health nurses. The programme balances theory and practice, with 50% classroom learning and 50% clinical placements across a variety of mental health settings.

Based at the Hendon campus, students benefit from advanced facilities at StoneX Stadium, including simulation suites with digital and immersive reality, where they can practise in a safe, realistic environment. Graduates of this programme are eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

Applicants are required to submit a personal statement, academic details, a reference from an academic or employer, and a CV showing relevant experience. In addition, they must attend an interview, complete an Occupational Health check, and pass a DBS check.

Grade Requirements:

• 112 UCAS points including A-levels, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications.
• International equivalents to A-levels are accepted.
• GCSE English and Mathematics at grade 4 (C) or above.

English Proficiency:

• IELTS Academic: overall score of 7.0 with no component below 7.0.
• PTE Academic and TOEFL iBT are also accepted.
• Candidates not meeting requirements can take a pre-sessional English course at the university.

The tuition fee for international students enrolling in the BSc Nursing (Mental Health) is £17,200 per year. Fees are reviewed annually and may be subject to change.
