BSc Midwifery

Course Overview

The BSc (Hons) Midwifery course at London South Bank University is designed to produce midwives who are eligible to register for the NMC. This programme will build leaders and agents of change, who are creative and work with evidence in women’s healthcare. It encourages teamwork and pushes students to take control of their professional growth.

Entry Requirements for Sri Lankan Students

Applicants need to submit a personal statement and relevant information regarding their studies, an academic and/or employer reference, CVs to show their work experience, and a DBS check will be carried out.

Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants need 112 UCAS points including A-levels, BTEC or equivalent with Maths, English and Science subjects.
  • Other International qualifications equivalent to A-levels are also accepted.
  • A GCSE at grade 4 or C or above in English and Mathematics is accepted.

English Proficiency:

  • Applicants need an IELTS score of 7.0 overall, with no component below 7.0.
  • PTE Academic and TOEFL iBT are accepted.

Cost of Study

The tuition fee for the BSc (Hons) Midwifery course is £17,600 for international students.

Scholarships

London South Bank University provides scholarships for its students, including midwifery students who are eligible to receive up to £11,000 per academic year through the NHS Learning Support Fund to support their studies.
