BA International Business Management including foundation year

The BA International Business Management (with a foundation year) at London Metropolitan University is designed for students who may not have the necessary qualifications to pursue a full undergraduate programme. The foundation year prepares them for future studies as they learn about a broad range of business topics, such as marketing, finance, and strategic management.

As students progress through the course, they will learn about modern business practices and new international concepts. They will also develop skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, research and analysis, and time management.

During the programme, students will study various modules, including Principles of Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Fundamentals of Business, and Digital Business and Marketing. They will be evaluated through different methods, which may include portfolios, coursework, essays, in-class tests, presentations, practical projects, and other activities.

Grade Requirements:

• Candidates are required to have a minimum of 96 UCAS points from level 3 qualifications. 
• This can be gained by achieving at least CCC in three A Levels, or by completing BTECs or other equivalent qualifications.

English Proficiency:

• For applicants who are non-native English speakers, a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 is required, with at least 5.5 in each section. 
• Scores from tests such as TOEFL, Pearson Academic, and Cambridge Advanced English are also accepted.

International students enrolling in the London Metropolitan University BA International Business Management (including foundation year) programme for the academic year 2025/26 will be charged a tuition fee of £19,500 annually. Note that this fee can change each year.

London Metropolitan University has different scholarships for international students. The International Bright Futures Scholarship offers a £3,000 reduction in tuition fees for full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students. 

There is also the Sanctuary Scholarship, which supports students who cannot get funding for their education because of their immigration status. It covers all tuition fees and also gives a maintenance grant of up to £13,762 each academic year to support living costs.

Additionally, the university offers the Elite Scholarship, worth £2,500, for students who are nationals of certain countries. They also provide Chevening Scholarships for full-time students enrolled in Master’s programmes.
