BSc Construction Project Management

Course Overview

This course prepares students with knowledge and skills for a career in construction project management with the coursework created in partnership with employers, which covers the management of commercial and domestic construction projects.

Students will learn principles and practices of the profession such as sustainability, financial management, procurement, leadership, and commercial practice and learn how to plan projects, allocate resources and manage risk.

The programme is taught in three phases which are Preparation, Live, and Post. The Preparation phase includes pre-recorded lectures and reading materials, and the Live phase involves engaging classroom teaching and finally, the Post phase includes follow-up with extra work to make sure students understand what they have been taught.

About University

Leeds Trinity University is located in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England and has a Roman Catholic heritage of over 50 years and is a member of the Cathedrals Group, an association of UK universities with Christian foundations.  It was founded in 1966 as two teacher training colleges, and it has expanded to undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in different fields such as Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering and Science.

The university has two campuses, the main campus in Horsforth, and a city campus in central Leeds. The main campus has hostels, and facilities such as a learning centre, sports science laboratories, and a sports centre with an artificial pitch. The city campus, where the School of Computer Science is located, provides modern learning spaces, a trading room, and other special facilities. The university is known for student satisfaction with teaching, academic support and graduate employment.

Entry Requirements for Sri Lankan Students

To apply, candidates must submit a personal statement explaining their reasons for applying and any other relevant information, a reference from an academic or employer and a CV.

Grade Requirements:

  • Candidates need 64 UCAS tariff points or higher including  A-levels and BTEC
  • International qualifications equivalent to A-levels are also accepted.

English Proficiency:

  • Candidates can submit an overall score of 6.0 in the IELTS Academic test, with no component score below 5.5.
  • PTE score of 59-75, with no score below 59.
  • A TOEFL total score of 79-89 is also accepted.

Cost of Study

The tuition fee for international students studying the BSc Construction Project Management programme at Leeds Trinity University is  £12,000  for the 2025/26 academic year.

Scholarships

Leeds Trinity University offers scholarships and awards to support students in their academics such as, The Leeds Trinity Bursary which provides a cash award of £500 to eligible UK students with a household income of £25,000 or less, paid in the second year of their undergraduate course, Academic excellent students who have AAB at A-level or equivalent qualifications can receive the Academic Achievement Award of £1,000, which doesn't require an application. The Sanctuary Scholarship is available to forced migrants in the UK, covering the full cost of tuition fees and providing an additional £10,000 per year towards study costs.
