Course overview

The MSc Civil Engineering with Industry Placement is a two-year postgraduate program for civil engineering professionals who want to improve their technical skills and gain more work experience. This course helps students develop advanced knowledge in civil engineering, preparing them for leadership roles in the industry.

The program focuses on building technical skills and applying theoretical concepts in practical ways, so graduates are ready to meet the demands of the industry. By combining academic learning with real-world experience, students are well-prepared for their future careers.

The program is split into two years, with the first year focusing on academic study and the second year dedicated to placement in the industry, where students gain valuable real-world experience. During the placement, students apply what they have learned in a professional setting, learn about industry practices, and build connections with professionals.

The assessments include coursework, projects, and exams, as well as an evaluation of how well students perform during their industry placement. This helps students develop practical skills and prepares them for their future careers.
