LLM Criminal Justice

The LLM Criminal Justice at De Montfort University helps you understand how the criminal justice system works in theory and practice. De Montfort University (DMU) is a public university located in Leicester, a city in the middle of England. Its beginnings trace back to 1870 when it was founded as the Leicester School of Art to provide art education to the local community. It became a university in 1992 and was named in honour of Simon de Montfort, a famous historical figure from Leicester.

DMU is organised into four main faculties: Art, Design and Humanities; Business and Law; Health and Life Sciences; Computing, Engineering and Media.

Grade Requirements: 

• Applicants are to hold a degree with a minimum pass of 2:2, or equivalent overseas qualification, or an equivalent professional qualification. A law degree is preferred but is not essential.

English Proficiency: 

• International students are to demonstrate proficiency in English by having an IELTS score of 6.5 overall with at least 5.5 in each component (or equivalent).
