Course Overview

The MSc in Computational and Software Techniques in Software Engineering at Cranfield University is designed to enable students to combine software engineering with high-performance computing, giving them the tools and techniques that employers are looking for and an advantage in the job market.

Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants are expected to have a second-class lower honours degree (2:2) in aeronautical, mechanical or electrical engineering or a computer science discipline or equivalent international qualification. 
  • Applications from candidates with relevant work experience in combination with a degree that does not meet the minimum entry requirement will be considered.

English Proficiency:

  • If English is not your first or spoken language, you must take an approved English test, such as IELTS Academic, where you need an overall score of 6.5 with no part below 5.5.
  • Other accepted tests include TOEFL iBT, Cambridge Assessment English, Pearson PTE Academic.
