BSc Interactive Media and Web Technologies

Course Overview

The BSc Interactive Media and Web Technologies at Coventry University will allow students to understand software techniques and technologies while mastering the principles of technical art. The course explores animation, VFX, modelling and motion graphics, preparing students to become a professional full-stack web developer capable of building user-focused front end and a technologically sound back end for various online projects. 

The 3-year programme allows students to regularly apply their knowledge to the development of creative content used in films, TV, games and the web. Students will be able to build a portfolio across multiple platforms and formats, including web and mobile services, social media, and virtual reality (VR) using game engines.

Throughout the course, students will primarily engage in independent study, deepening their understanding through research, reviews and project-based assignments.

  • Applicants should possess 112 UCAS tariff points with qualifications equivalent to A-levels in the grade range of BBC. Other qualifications include BTEC diplomas and the International Baccalaureate. 

English Proficiency:

  • Non-native English speakers may need to demonstrate proficiency in the language, typically through an IELTS score of at least 6.0. TOEFL or other equivalents are also allowed.
